What This Project Is About
This project is called Heist. We were given a scene from a movie and had to create our own foley sounds to overlay onto the scene. We recorded sounds ourselves and edited them to match the action on screen.
We also had another task where we took a movie scene and changed the editing and sound design so it felt like a different genre. I used a Jurassic World trailer and transformed it into a horror version by changing the tone, music and sound choices.
Heist Scene Foley
We made our own sounds for a movie heist scene and synced them in editing so the scene felt original and realistic.
Jurassic World Re-Genre Edit
I changed a Jurassic World trailer into a horror trailer by re-editing and replacing audio to make it darker and more unsettling.
10 Foley Sounds
We recorded the required 10 foley sounds and worked as a class and small groups to capture clean audio for scenes.
